In keeping with the theme of working ridiculously hard to hook up with some fish, I went for some late night fishing for sea trout. All in all I think I biked around 25 miles, and hiked about ten, to hook up with a single fish. Was it worth it?
The answer to that is obvious.
She took on the last cast of the day as I swung a four inch long purple intruder through a gorgeous run. The sun had set behind the glacier and the autumn chill was in the air, but along with it came the amazing colors of everything, from the grass and sun rays, to the silvery chrome of a fresh-run sea trout. A good way to end a tough day of fishing!
I even tried to take photos of myself with the fish… With mixed results..
